  1. Action! 3.0 Demo Files
  2. ======================

  4. On this CD, you will find a collection of Action!
  5. presentation files for your review, use and for demo purposes.
  6. Please feel free to take scenes from these presentations and
  7. modify them to suit your needs.
  8.  
  9. These have been assembled to provide you with examples of
  10. different kinds of presentations that have been created
  11. in Action! over the past several years.  
  12.  
  13. To run unpackaged applications, select File-Run Presentation
  14. or CTRL-enter.  Hit the space bar or right mouse click to continue
  15. at a pause.
  16.  
  17. In the DEMOS directory, you will find several sub-directories:
  18.  
  19. ACTION!:    A!3INTRO.ACT contains excerpts from the presentation
  20.                 created for the Action! 3.0 Launch event
  21.         at Comdex Atlanta in May, 1994.
  22.  
  23.         This presentation contains the product description,
  24.         positioning and key features of the new upgrade.
  25.  
  26. BUSINESS:    These are several different kinds of business
  27.         presentations collected and/or developed over
  28.         the past few years.
  29.  
  30.         ACME.ACP contains good examples of animated charts
  31.         and graphs.  
  32.  
  33. GTOUR:        This is the on-line Guided Tour that ships with
  34.         Action! 3.0.  This provides a good walk through
  35.         of key product features and an instructional
  36.         introduction to the product.
  37.  
  38. MACROMED:     These are a few earlier Macromedia corporate
  39.         presentations created in Action.
  40.         
  41.         In Demo1, hit the space bar to proceed to
  42.         next scene.
  43.  
  44. MISC:        These are other assorted presentations collected
  45.         recently, including a Macromedia Holiday card (holiday),
  46.         a presentation with Tips about creating effective
  47.         presentations (tips), an interesting Action "movie"
  48.         about a screwdriver's life and loves (screwdriver),
  49.         and an NEC product demo created in Japan (matedemo).
  50.  
  51. 1024x768:     This directory contains some fun interactive scenes
  52.          designed for large screen displays.
  53.         In order to see everything in the scenes, you
  54.         should play these only on full screen monitors.
  55.  
  56. MEDIA        This directory contains a sampling of BMPs
  57.         and digital video movies that can be used in
  58.         creating your own multimedia presentations
  59.         for customer prospects.
